The product meets sustainability standards and, thanks to its Ecocert certification, is suitable for use in organic farming, among other applications. The certificate is issued by an independent organization and represents products manufactured according to established ecological and environmentally friendly standards.
Before the product breaks down, hemp prevents weeds from growing, retains moisture, and protects plants and crops from drying out. After the specified period, the hemp decomposes, returning its natural components to the soil. In this way, Howitec hemp not only protects plants, shrubs, and trees but also contributes to a healthy soil after decomposition.

Hemp is pressed into an easy-to-roll-out ground cover. The fabric can be used both indoors and outdoors, suppressing weeds and retaining moisture. The tree trunk protector is used in tree nurseries, ecological planting projects, and agroforestry, among other applications. It can be secured with bamboo stakes for a sturdy structure. The bamboo stakes must be purchased separately and are not included with the tree trunk protector.
